Mesquite & Turquoise Inspiration

The design team at Sunset Interiors pulls inspiration for their work from the beauty that surrounds us in the American southwest. Two of the most recognizable materials in Arizona are beautiful mesquite wood and vibrant turquoise.

German silver stamped boxes with turquoise and onyx by J. Alexander, handwoven wool pillows by Zapotec complimenting the Hancock and Moore Perry Armchair, African glass bead necklaces, and carved mesquite tables with turquoise inlay designs.

New Take on a Classic Style

At Sunset Interiors, we are always scouting for new furniture that embodies the classic aesthetic of the American West.

The Hancock & Moore Kneemoore sofa and Hancock & Moore Santa Fe armchair are reminiscent of the El Tovar lodge in the Grand Canyon, while cabinet from Jason Scott adds architecture to any room.
The Kneemoore sofa by Hancock & Moore features exposed wood arms and hand-burnished leather with a 1940s western sensibility. It is as comfortable as your favorite pair of well worn boots!
The Santa Fe chair by Hancock & Moore, pictured here with tooled leather panels, are reminiscent of the Fred Harvey by-gone era.
This entertainment center by Jason Scott brings out the beauty in any room. The reclaimed teak is enhanced by the incredible hand-carved designs as well as the hand-forged iron hinges and handles. This Jason Scott piece adds an architectural element to any room!
These Pranee handbags are one of our owner and lead designer Dara Davis’ newest finds! Each one is handmade from leather and vintage fabrics. The leather fringe and unique style have the vibe of Route 66. Contact us to inquire about the rest of our Pranee handbags!
The yellow pow wow skirt, the colorful Apache mirror bag, and 1890s etching are just a few of Dara’s one-of-a-kind finds in our Dove Mountain showroom.
